Anyone know what size packing I need for the shaft of a 69 Mustang? 1/4 or 3/16 ?

I was wrong and corrected one on this but it was for a newer boat. I'd say it is 1/4" but to be sure, measure the space between the shaft and the inside of the packing gland.
