I am looking for a PCM model 40 trans service manual. I would like to take apart and inspect.

I saw the one PCM but I do not belive it is for mine. It shows Borg Warner and Velvet drives and not 1:1 ratio. Maybe they are the same. The Borg Warner drawing looks like mine. Is the PCM trans made by Borg Warner and does the gear ratio really matter?

I dont believe there is one in the ref section. I got mine from SkiDIM. It covers both the 1:1 and 1.23 PCM trannies.

Eric - don't you charge extra for fixing owner take-aparts? Shame on you for encouraging him. LOL.

seeing that it is a Super sport, it will have a Borg Warner or a PCM or possibly even a ZF450 then it couples to a Walter's antique v-drive you need to pull your model numbers off the trans then see which manual you will need
snob, official count for the year is 13 for the fix it again sam club, and i dont want it to end on an unlucky number

I want to thank everyone for your responses. I am very mecanically inclined and will attempt to rebuild the trans. I have split many of case on motorcycle engines to rebuild.
If I get the service manual and feel that the task is overwhelming, then off to Eric it will go.
I feel that I should check the V-Drive unit since I will have it out. I know the owners manual describes removing some screens and cleaning them. I think i read that. I know that there was something that I could not get to winterizing my boat for the first time last year.
Thank you all for your responses. Awesome site.
