I had a plastic company cut me out several pieces of plastic the same thickness as stock, with beveled edges. I was able to trace and cut out a pattern, and drill out holes for the lights/switches. You can see a pic in the 1989 SN I have for sale on CCF. I originally thought I would need several to practice on, but the first one came out great! I'd like to help out CCF members, and maybe make a couple buck for my trouble for tracing and drilling. I just used a good quality labeler for the switches, and then bought LED's from radio shack for the indicator lights. Then used piggyback connectors to make hook up easier. Let me know what you all think, make me an offer, I think a new one from CC cost over $100, but it is actually etched with the labels. I need to get more pics.
Thanks, Mike shagit007@aol.com |
