I recently got a good deal on a boom for my 97 SNOB........however, it has the contour in it instead of being straight. Does anyone else have one, or think it will be a problem having it? I only ask because in Overtons it says the countour is designed for Master Craft, Malibu, Moomba, etc, but the straight boom is listed for Nautiques. Will it still work? Any experience (or just opinion) would be appreciated. Thanks!

Generally you would use a straight boom if your engine box wraps around the side of the pylon, the straight boom mounts higher on the pylon negating that problem, so if you have about 3 inches clearance around the pylon roughly 10 inches from the floor there should be no issue with using a curved boom.
