Oh well, either nobody checked it out or they don't want to admit it...there were a few good jokes though.
They started on Chrysler's bankruptcy and played the sound byte of Obama saying that the gov't would be backing up warranties... one broke in and said "are we gonna have a jiffy lube in the west wing?" another said "no, that was under Clinton". |

I took my kids roller blading in the Chrysler parking lot this morning, no obstacles just teary eyes, there is a sign at its entrance and it reads....no imports allowed, i hope that isnt misconstrued as alot of parts are made oversea's, it was only to compete to keep the price under 100k.
cars really would be 12k a piece, if we wouldve stuck with the program |

There will be plenty of skating room there soon. Hope all you Union haters are happy. All these parking lots will make great skate parks.

The "Union haters" didn't make the parking lots empty. The unions helped empty those lots. |

To survive in a free market, you must remain competitive. The US big 3 have not been that in a long time. Does not matter if it was cost or quality, sales are down and they did not have enough in the bank to survive a downturn. Ford and others are making it because they prepared.
And before you get snippy, Cathie and have 6 cars and trucks and a motorhome and all are Ford, Chevy and Dodge. But that does not change the facts |

Toyota is selling the POS Prius at a loss just to get it into this country, and the feel gooders are sucking them up. on the drive home i would look in the drives and it was about 50/50 the thing is you would see 3 Hondas or 3 american cars in the drive, not to much of a mix. that was the roots of Nafta, to have parts made cheaper to compete and try to keep car prices in line, and really the only time you heard from the unions is when the worker was involved in wrong doings and they would defend them...thats a whole other topic, just imagine if your kids formed a union lol

Working directly with the UAW (which means, "u aint working") the union only protected the sh*t bags. I don't see any advantage to have a union unless you don't want to work.
