Welcome aboard. I am new here myself but posed a question on my own leaky speedo issues last week; a 94 also, ironically enough (assuming your 94 is a Nautique).

You might find the responses I got helpful:

Otherwise, I ran a search on the board for "speedometer" and some of the posts that came up mentioned troubleshooting the pitot tubes, etc. I'm new enough that I can't give you any specific instructions but would also appreciate any advice you get. For what its worth, before mine started leaking it would only work intermittently . . .

I replaced my "airglide" speedos which were unreliable at best with a paddlewheel system and new Faria gauges. Not cheap, I think 600.00 all told. Later that year I put in Perfect Pass and since I had the paddlewheel in already I saved a few hundred.

Work like a charm, and the Perfect Pass: saved my marriage, LOL.

LB.

Airglide or Airguide? Ive found my Airguides to be pretty darn accurate across the board once adjusted! Both my '90 and '71 are both dialed in nicely.

Airguide, glide, not sure, just the stock nautique jobs. Not saying they were not accurate. They were accurate when they worked. They worked most of the time, but not all the time. At times they would drop off right in the middle of a pass, or I could not get them to sych with each other at all speeds. I guess I never knew how to dial them in.

Not trashing on them. I do like the paddlewheel now.

Got weeds in your lake? Thats probably my #1 complaint with them... they catch a weed and go down. Thats most likely the reason they started installing 2 way back when. You gotta stop and back up to clear the pitots when that happens.

No weeds, but some moss/algae in the shallow areas. I suck it up while idling. Cogged my water intake once.

That lake funk gets in the little hole. Pitot? Is that what they are?
