I took my daughter back to college a couple of weeks ago. In the truck was a Napa bag full of tune up parts I bought to do my 312 (yes, its been better than 28 years!!) Well, when we got to the sorority house, there was a group of boys over there helping the girls unload (and probably looking for phone numbers) their stuff and hauling it up to the rooms. Well, yesterday I was looking at my list of things I need to take up north for the Labor day weekend. Yes, I'm at a point where I have to make a list and start getting things together early and doing this found no Napa bag!!! I did get a hold of my daughter and yes the bag was there!! Her room mates were joking with her when they couldn't figure out what the bag of parts were for - "Darc, are you going to do a tune up on a car??" I then had to ask my daughter if her room mates were mechanically inclined to ID tune up parts. The response was "dad, the little boxes say spark plugs on them are we aren't that stupid to not know spark plugs go in a engine!" Mystery solved!

Pete, at least you've done better than I by first admitting it and second making a list so you don't forget. Problem is; you'll forget where you put the list and need to make a list to remind you where you put the first list.
Here is the link on the AAADD post I put up a while back for some of the new guys! Forgetfulness |

Yes Tim I do have this problem as well!! I have thought about making copies of my list and putting them all over my house, garage, and the truck. I avoid doing notes at work because that's a whole different book of notes!! At home, I haven't gotten to the point of using the frig and the magnets - that spot is reserved for the wife!! Yes, she's getting up there too but I won't tell her!
Yes, I got a real big kick out of that list!! great post! Did you create it yourself or find it someplace? |

My wife Kim sent it to me via email. Described me to a T and figured it did to my CC brothers as well.

And then there's that special place you put something that you don't want to lose and it ends up lost for 2 years.

I was trying to figure out why you had a bunch of college students in your pool bag. (you didn't say what 'them' was) |

Eric, if it makes you feel any better I'm still looking for a set of keys to the main tow vehicle. They've been MIA for about a month now and we've torn the house apart twice looking for them.

the bad part about it was i always leave my keys on the floor in the car and my sister in laws 2 year old always goes in my car and i blamed him, and im yelling at her to watch her kid better, she told me that she was waiting for an apology..i guess she is going to keep waiting. i felt like an ass when they found the keys in the bag....especially when she tells me i shouldnt leave the keys in the car, its the other way around....keep your kid out of my car
