In the car business it is common to dye the interior of a used car. My 92 SN interior isn't torn and worn out, it is just discolored. Looks like deeply inbedded mildew. I haven't been able to get it out. I got to thinking about dying the interior. Any opinions on this?

You must degrease it really good. SEM is the best brand of vinyl spray.

Thanks for the reply. If I do it, I will have it done by a professional. That certainly excludes myself.

Thanks for the link. I know I am a "newbie" but you'd think I would of thought to search for it.

I was in a friends Tige last weekend, he had some panels in the interior patched and then it is dyed to hide the patch. After 2 years it is very easy to find the patched panels.

I dyed some boat seats years ago. The dye made the vinyl very stiff, never liked the result & had them reupholstered eventually.

I guess in this ecomony, if I can dye it and get by for a couple of years, that is the route I might take. Really don't want to replace interior skins now.
