There are lots of companies that transport boats. I checked on having it done one time and I can offer you a few tips. If you type "boat transport" on Google.com you will find many companies that would love to transport your boat. You don't need to use a "local" company, they just schedule pick-ups and deliveries wherever and whenever they can get them. I would recommend getting several quotes from reputable companies and taking the low bid. With small boats like ours, they will put multiple boats on one truck, so I found that if I could find a company that had a pick-up and a drop off near mine, then I would get the best deal. So, if I was willing to be patient, the guys would put my name on a list and when they could plan an efficient route to include my boat with others, they could give me the best price. One guy gave me a price, then he called back a few days later with a lower price, and then called back a week later with an even lower price because the transport I needed would fit perfectly into another move he was making. His final price was less than my gas would have cost to make the round trip myself. Hope this helps.

I ended up not buying the boat, so I didn't use him and I can't remember the name. He was out of Florida and I think the name was A-1, or AAA... something like that. But as long as they are insured and are experienced with BOAT transport, I would recommend going with the low price.
