A good idea ? Would think so, especially when changing fuel filters. 1990 SN FORD 351 PCM. I don't have one, 3/8 fuel supply line comes straight from tank to Inlet of Filter, then from Filter to Engine.
I would think best place to have one would be at the Inlet to Filter, no ? A brass valve w/90 degree rotation is what I want ? thanks, cheers, John |

I have a 1994 merc. 350 and it has a valve as stated right on the filter (water separator). It has come in handy both in replacing the filter canister as well as changing out fuel lines. Just a simple 1/4 turn brass valve straight inline with the 3/8" line to filer housing.
