Teleflex Depth Finder

I am replacing the depth finder in my 75 Skiier because I stepped on the transducer and broke the cable. I noticed a Teleflex in dash with a chrome bezel that looks great and would match the other teleflex gauges on my dash and the bezels as well. However, I talked with a distributor in Ohio today and they are trying to steer me away from teleflex because they said something about the division that makes the gauges going out of business. Furia makes a nice one with a stainless steel bezel I could get or I could just buy a new transducer for my humminnbird and save the money and put it back in the boat.
