'82 what? The 1982+ Ski Nautique will require a special Correct Craft specific steering cable. It has a longer throw than a standard steering cable, so turning radius is compromised with a generic one. You would need to get one from a dealer.

If you guy's think it would help everyone. I could get the listing of all the steering cables by their years in use and part numbers. And maybe I can talk with Keith about listing them on the site. If all goes well, might try and post prop,strut,shaft,rudders....etc Give me some feed back on this topic ? Dave |

Yes, that would be the bomb! Put in Maintenance Section and maybe include the OE props that each individual boat came with, and maybe Trbenj and some of the other prop gurus on here can send Keith the info on what props work well with certain boats, weights, etc., with what you're trying to get out of the boat.

Marty I don't think they have prop info for the older boats. When I got my boat in the late 80's it was missing the prop, customer service could not tell me what it had.

Oh, allright then. Just thought I'd throw that in with everyone always wanting to know which way to go with a prop.
I wanta get one for the Skylark, or a few to try to see which I'll like better. Mostly, I'd like the speed out of it mostly. I know it's 4400 rpms WOT, but haven't checked it by gps yet. Everybody has one that I know of that says they'll bring it to check it out, but no one's came through for me yet. Mr. Donald keeps saying, he's gonna come up one day with his, but hasn't made it yet .So any suggestions Mr. Gary S ? |

Well it must be your lucky day guy's. I see Marty has faith in me and Gary remember it's always who you ask.. I have seen the other side of the mountain. Great man that said those words. Let me dust off my records and see what I can do. I'm sure it would be fine, but I want to check first with my peers. I know how much data is worth on this great site. And if I can add to it, then I must do a good job for all to enjoy. Dave |

Your so right Dave. Id guess Marty it came with a 12x12 or maybe 12x13 since it's a 6.Don't know what that would translate into a modern prop tho.Join up with Reids posse and head up to GL,we'll figure something out |
