Hey guys, wanted to see if I could get some help with my Ski Tique windshield. Been having some trouble with the starboard (driver) side panel connecting to the main panel.
Seems like there is a piece missing in between the front and side brackets (like a dowel of some sort) There is some deformity to the two sides which makes me think it got damaged at some point. Also, I had three of my bolts connecting the windshield to the deck snap off. They were loose so as soon as I tried to tighten them they snapped. At this point, I figured I might as well just take the whole thing off and buff the deck. Anyone know where I can find some new bolts? The seem to have an oblong head. |

Chris,
I believe it was Marty that found a source for the bolts. Try doing some searching or he may be along and post a link to his thread. The front frame to the side frame is a slip fit and pretty sloppy. It's intentional to allow a angular adjustment on different decks with different slopes. |

Chris,
My windshield has a complete set of new, re-shaped bolts that come with it. Mike |

Pete, I have to be missing a piece in between these two. I have nothing holding the two together.
Mike, I may FINALLY be heading north the 15th for the Warner Auction...looks like it's on the opposite side of the city. |

The shield is held down by bolts? HA! I used 1.5" stainless steel screws but on my 82 the glass is about 1.5" thick under the shield.
