Is there any interest in guide pole covers with 60's and 70's style lettering and Ski Nautique style lettering from the 70's -80's ??

I like those, mine are plain black vinyl. I wasn't sure about them when I bought the boat but 2 years later they still look new. I would have to but these on the boat lift, will they come in colors?

Tim-awesome work man! Just what we need for the 1973 Ski Nautique! I will give you a call. Glad to see these done. Since the lettering on the boat is blue and red, colors might become a hot item. Black will do the job though.

Nice work, as always you have continued to try and bring the Correct Craft community new items and ideas.

Black would be fine with me, but if there are colors I'd be interested in Blue.

Marty, it seems youre overthinking this.

McMaster has the foam if you cant find it anywhere locally. All the guide poles Ive seen are made from 2" pipe. Make the ID large enough so that it will fit over 2001 trailers with the tubing and it should fit anything. Just use the same dimensions as the "Nautique" guide pole covers- those are a universal fit.

I think your best bet is to source the entire blank cover (canvas + foam) from someone, then screen print it. This will be easiest for you guys. Somehow Regal is able to make the Nautique guides pretty affordable. If for whatever reason, yours are more expensive (even double the cost), then so be it. Those who want them will be willing to pay for them.

I think trying to re-screen people's existing covers and having people source their own foam would make this project a major hassle for everyone involved (especially you)... but thats just my 2 cents!

Thanks again for taking this one on- I think they would be a great addition to an older CC!

Both of my trailers have 2 inch PVC over a smaller diameter metal pipe. I just use some 2 inch pipe insulation and then a cover. For the boat cradle I got some gavanized fence posts and covered them with the 2 inch PVC pipe. I agree with Tim, keep it simple.

Marty, give Mcmaster a call and they'll give you a shipping quote on the spot if you have the item number handy. Ive always found that theyre shipping is always extremely reasonable.

Jeff Connors-- Send a pic of the name badge of your Separator. To match the script or style of lettering that is if ya want 'XX SEPARATOR on one side and the CC Script on the other.

Here's Keegan's Red Pads    Guess the RED does look good

Marty, Tim

Looking through the thread and at the store and cannot find the price for these.
Do we order direct with one of you?
Is the lettering on two sides of the cover or just one?
Can you do two sides, example, Skylark on one and CorrectCraft on the other? (Maybe what Keegan has)

Thanks,

Keith

Now those red Ski Nautique ones are cool. I wish I had a trailer worthy of wearing them! I may have to spring for them and put them in the "someday" pile. Let us know when you have pricing info, Tim.

Finally TimD comes out of his Foxhole he's been hiding in! He's been avoiding me I guess!

My mom gets the fabric which is $20- She can get 2 pairs out of the yard and 1/8 that she gets. She charges $15 to sew them up--so split that cost-that's $25 I give her a pair.

Then Tim's cost of screening--I'm guessing $20 for the pair or less.

That's what I've checked on locally, since I haven't heard from Mr.TimD lately.

So these are custom don't forget-- $40- $50 a pair. Got to wait on Tim's cost as he hasn't given it to me yet.
So jump on him guys to get his tail in gear-
Keith 68 Skylark-look at the previous pics of mine. CC on one side 66 Skylark on the other.

Dude those are dead on and would look great!

Unfortunately these are still holding up well and showing no signs of wear yet.
