hey there, was wondering if there are any negatives to hanging my 86 by the lifting rings, or should i go ahead and spend the money on a lift (cradle beams and runners for boat to sit on) thanks

That's what the lifting eyes are for!!!! Boats have hung by them since the turn of the century. The last one!
 No boat houses in your area? No lifts set up for the lifting eyes with two point attachments?
