   This is my first time to the forum, so i apologize for my ignorance.

I have an '89 CC Martinique, PCM 351 W/ Velvet Drive.

I would like to replace my single exhaust tube with twin tubes above the water line for a more "throaty" sound?

Is there a conversion kit available?

	Thats a lot of work! My exhaust comes out of the water on plain, I'm not so sure you realize how loud that will make that boat!!! There is no convertion that I know of, that would be a custom job.

	You do not want to do it!! The high point at transom will create a big toilet trap and with all that water will develope too much back pressure on the engine. The high exhaust you see on some boats like a Donzi, are V drives or out drives so their exhaust doesn't drop low under the floor. Ed is correct that on plane, the exhaust is out of the water anyway. If you want it louder, remove the muffler and replace it with a "Y" pipe. There are several threads on doing it. Welcome to CCfan.

	Thank you. I plan to keep the existing single tube below the water line and replace the muffler with a "Y" connection. Thanks again for your help.

	Some guys have replaced some of the straight runs of rubber exhaust tubing with stainless steel pipes for a little more sound too. Although, most of the boats have been OEM (below the water) dual exhausts. There are threads on that as well though.
