Looking to buy a 2001 model SN project boat any year from 82-89. Looking to find one that does have majority of the parts but dose not have to be in running condition. But needing to be with in a couple hours from jackson tn or athens tn.... any where in tennessee is fine with me. Im finishing my 79 SN stringer job and already wanting another SN to restore, an yes ive been enjoying restoring my first SN

Found a 82 SN but it is rough! Tell me what you all think about it, it dosent have the cc trailer the engine looks like it hasn't even thought about being started in a couple yrs and that velvet drive is probably in need of a rebuild it's self. They want way to much asking price is 3900!! I know it's a rebuild project at the bare least. But good candidate for restore?

How much should I offer for this boat? I'm thinking around 1k range

Pretty rough but looks to be all intact. $1,500.00 max on an offer!
Trailer is garbage but would work under someones duck boat!
Hobby Boats can be expensive when the hobbyist is limited on their own skill and expertise.
