Anyone know whether the GT40 motor is electronically rev-limited to the 4,800 rpm redline?

Nothing in the GT40 repair/troubleshooting manual conclusively suggests electronic rev-limiting at redline.
One person with a Pro-Boss motor indicated his went into limp mode when it hit about 5,000 rpm. |
