Hey all, thought I would share this with you since there's some interest in Chris Crafts here are plenty of interest and expertise in wood boats.

Steve Bunda of Bottoms Up Antique Wood Boat Restoration in Crandon, Wi has started this forum which is dedicated to Chris Craft "Lake Boats" in hopes of providing information to those with utilities and runabouts. Steve and his wife laurie specialize in plank boats, Utilities and runabouts, so it's only fitting the forum fall under his site.

Hope to see some of the nice Chris Craft projects from our members posted!

Eric,
Steve is more into the wood aspect of the restoration. I suggest you call Ted Cartner at 847 395 8902 regarding the Paragon/ BTW he rebuilds them and has all the sources for parts.

Also, Ted is the guy rebuilding Chris's Chris/Hercules engine.

Pete, ole wise one, you forget i worked for Paragon for many moons, been on more Chris's than i care to remember, and a Roladex full of numbers with Paragon contacts.
allotta 427/p44 combos out the salon windows, matter of fact i got a p44 in today, I counted them today a matter of fact 4- p44's and 2-pv44's, plus about 10 other cores, and shelves full of good parts for Paragons
I have an hj 1;1 but not to sure i want to part with it for a display boat, its an old woody and he wants it period correct
