I had no luck finding 1-1/2" shaft log hose in short quantities, so I bought a 3' piece.
My (apparently) original hose was marked as a Gate's Green Stripe 24244, which is a heater/radiator flexible hose. Boat is a 1989 Ski Nautique. It went on my shaft log that measured 1-5/8" snug, and fit perfect on the packing gland. It is a fiber reinforced EPDM hose. It feels a lot tougher than a typical radiator hose, with a rougher spiral outer wrap. So I have for sale about 2.5 feet of Gates Green Stripe 24224, 1-1/2" ID.
