Im new to the forum but i have owned alot of nautiques. i am parting out a complete 1986 ski nautique 2001. the boat is black and light creme colr and was painted about 10 years ago. i just put a used motor and transmission in it but my wiring and ingnition are not working right. i have been working on the boat since fall when i ran across a 1990 sport nautique in mint condition so this boat has got to go. i have every part on the boat execpt for the shift knob so let me know what you need and or if someone wants to make an offer on the entire boat. i saw the motor running when i bought it back in december so i know there is nothing wrong with it. please let me know what you need and have a great day

I realize it'll be one of the parts you need to hold onto the longest, but I'd be interested in the trailer.

Also interested in the driver's seat pedestal.

Its close. The pole itself is the same. The '86 will not have the flange that attaches the pylon to the floor like the '77 would have, though. The firm attachment point on the '86 would have been to the cradle instead.

So Tim, it sounds like I may be able to make it work...right? I can get a flange welded to it. Does this one have the same same aft curve?

Yes, the pole is the same. If youre ok with welding on the flange, youre in business!

The pylon in the pics above is missing the ring & finger, and I think that part is in the top 3 sought after parts around here.

Not original, but if you wanted to go reverse retro, I still have a ball top(87-89?). It would need the flange as well, and the hull mount may need modification. That TRBenj fella can help here.

Lucky,

I'd be interested in all of the external fresh water cooling system parts. From the inlet hose to strainer to belt driven (Sherwood??) pump to the hoses and fittings to the intake and exhaust manifolds, including all. Also I'd like to get 2nd in line both one or both of the speedos and pitot tubes. Email me a price at Pyramidguy1@hotmail.com

Thanks, Todd

Don't get me wrong I would love to have the ring and finger, but for me its not that crucial. I was able to pick up a pylon from a 78, but it looks like it has gone through the ringer a few times. I could probably grind, file and polish it up. I was looking at buying the ball top for this pylon I have. I would be interested in yours if you could send pics and price. allenwwilson@gmail.com

i have been offshore fishing and just now getting back to all the post, the pylon is the original but the previous owner has cut off the ski eye. i know that you can drill them out and get another one and screw in there or get the new style nub and weld it on. the tracking fin i will sell all 3 in a package and the guages all go in a package with all the air tubes, breakers, wiring and anything assoicated with them. i think i have a guy buying the motor and trans package but not 100 pct yet. please email me with what you want and an offer and i will get back to you asap. or call me between 8am to 9 pm est with any questions 321-377-4008. i am going to start taking parts off of the boat on sunday and hope to start shipping them on monday. sorry for the delay in getting back to anyones post but it is fishing time down here in florida. have a great day

Here it is, but I was thinking it may not fit your 77. It fits a BFN and came out of a Martinique. The finish you see is where I didn't finish ...I test fit it after I got the scratches out and it was different than mine by 1/32" at the hull fitting so I didn't finish the polish. It must have a slightly different bend from my other one.

I just striped out the boat, everything that people have been asking about is off of the boat with the exception of the motor, trans, fuel tank and shifter control box. i nhave took a lot more pictures and will be posting them here shortly.
