Lake George camping suggestions

   I know the CCF team has done some boating on Lake George in NY, and was looking for recommendations on where to camp.

I have a family of 4 and an SV211... we will hopefully be meeting up with another family.  So I was thinking of looking for an island camp spot that can handle 8 people on 2 sites.  Is there a difference in the locations?

We would want to be able to go to a town easily and get food, go to a restaurant, etc.  There is talk of the other family getting a cheap hotel room just to have a place to shower and keep their stuff.  Any recommendations?

What did the CCF folks do up there?

	great thought....camping gives you the feeling that you have come out of the materialistic world, where you and your kids are with s'mores, beverages, and LIFE :)
