Good evening fellas, I posted this in the common questions, but figured I would post in maintenance since it really pertains more towards that, anyway,
I decided to change the fuel line in our 96' Ski (351 Carbed) at the last minute tonight after work and went to Napa to purchas the line. It is a 3/8" (9.5mm) SAE 30R7, not for fuel injection, and is made by Gates. Question is that this line is not quite as large (o.d.) as the original line and I am concerned about the performance of it under conditions such as barefoot runs at pretty much WOT. Is there any chance that it could collapse or have other issues, or am I overthinking this and will be good to go. Thanks Mark |

There's also a detailed post out there somewhere (Morfoot started it i think) about specific ethanol-resistant fuel lines which you might factor into your decision if you've not already.
