you guys are always so knowledgable my snaps are popping out of the boat not the cover two questions are all snaps the same and what can i put in the holes on the boat so i can screw the screws back in????

Mix up some epoxy resin & chopped up fiberglass (they call the mixture 'mash').
Put tape over the hole so you don't get any excess on gel surface. Use a nail or wire to put the mash into the hole. This takes patience, it is very gooey. Fill the hole as much as possible. Redrill the hole & it will be stronger than new. If you don't have marine epoxy (just a guess) just buy some 5 minute epoxy from wallyworld. They also have fiberglass cloth at a reasonable price. Look in the auto body aisle. Wear gloves, of course. |
