Thanks. I have asked if this could be a sticky before. Does anybody know how to make that happen?

Stuck Prop - Links -

Upgrading my old OJ 4 blade to a refurbished Acme 380. I tried once to remove and it was stuck like a duck in the muck. Did some searching on here and found these two links:

Stuck Prop 1

Stuck Prop 2

To add my two cents. I used a regular prop puller and propane torch to heat the hub and it worked fine. I also kept a cup full of ice cubes next to me and placed them just aft the strut to keep the shaft cool and from damaging the strut bearing. Took a couple of minutes before the gun went off.

*Let me know if this has been covered or does not belong in the FAQ section.

Joe was suggesting that Kevin add new information, but doing updates to his original posts, rather than adding new ones. That way all the good, clean, information stays towards the top.

It's been a labor of love and the idea is to keep all the useful links at the top of this thread (not down here on page 2). Any suggestions for new additions from the CCF family?
