need a new throttle cable for the tique. the linkage got bound up so i will be going through that as well. anyone know the length of the throttle (red) cable on the ski tique. trying to get one ordered before getting it apart. is skidim best place? saw pretty decent prices.

morse cable says 192 so ill go with a 16 ft cable just for anyone else down the road. last three digits are the inches on morse and last 2 digits are ft on a teleflex.

Everyone has been using the Extremes from go2marine. I believe the ones at Skidim are the cheaper low quality.
Double check the length. What engine do you have? it may make a difference. I pulled the ones out of my Tique, measured them before ordering and had them in a couple days. BTW, I'd replace both at the same time. The helm control can be a PITA to work on. You don't want to be doing this again for the second cable. |
