Most of you guys know that I work in the composite repair shop for the biggest airline here in Atlanta. This spinner cap came into the shop the other day so I thought I'd share it with you guys. Talk about hitting the Bullseye! Birdstrike dead center of the motor. Blood stains everywhere obviously but the amazing thing about it was the cap wasn't cracked anywhere! The impact of the bird just collapsed it. Of course it was scrapped out but Man that Kevlar is some strong stuff!
 Here is what it looks like on the motor itself. I'm using an old picture that I still have when Bully paid a visit.

Tim,
That kevlar material is some pretty tough stuff huh!! But, I'd like to inquire about some kevlar men's size medium undies for the next time you and Reid talk me into another hi-speed run in the Tique with a different prop. LOL.... Anytime Todd, what are friends for? It'll be hard pressed not to get Reid and I back up there for the Benjamin 2013 gathering. We had a ball! You couldn't wipe the smiles off of our faces with a concrete slab after those 3 high speed runs if you wanted too!
