A 1442 is a 3-blade 13.25" X 15" with an .090 cup. No doubt you have a GT40 with a 1.23 reduction. What prop is on the boat now?

I have a brand-new 3-blade 1458 which is 13" X 14" with a .135 cup. I'm willing to part with it for about 60% of the lowest price you can find for a new one on the market, plus freight.

"I made him an offer he can't refuse"...

I wouldn't doubt very long about the deal Art is proposing here Fly...
- Gun control means: using BOTH hands!
- Money doesn't make one happy, but when it rains cats and dogs, it's still better to cry in a Porsche than on a bicycle...

Art,

I am looking for a spare prop for my '86 BFN BBChevy (Blair's Barefoot Banana Boat II) 1:1 Transmission and right hand rotation, and am wondering if the 1458 would be a prop that would be a candidate. Art, PM a price to me, please.

Tim, any comment.

Thanks Todd

UT, the 1458 and the 1598 are the 2 props that I think would work good on your BFN. They are both 13x14 3-blades and only vary by the amount of cup they have (.080 vs. .135). I have one of each at the moment, and want to try them both back to back to characterize the difference. I plan to keep one for our BFN and send the other up to NY with you!

Tim,

Thanks for the update. I'll tell Art that I am waiting on a water test in CT and that if he has another buyer that money talks and to let his 1458 go. Otherwise I still want to be behind any gawkers for his prop.

Ran the newly acquired '78 Nautique in the river Sunday, and I am pleased. No GPS or shop tach, but watchin the water fly by for a step off!! Lots of R's. It would blow the '90 Ski away, and sounds good even with the orig mufflers. No issues to work on other than minor cosmetics. However....
