Yea, for the most part the gangs are at war with each other for turf to sell their drugs. The police are playing "Whack-A-Mole" with them. I was driving home from a night out with my wife 2 weeks ago on Agusta and someone was shooting nearby. It has become part of daily life there and reminds me of being back on the job. Despite all that I hope they get this little problem worked out. They are trying but the bad guys just don't care.

It looks the governor is pushing for even stronger gun laws to help curb all of that violence. That should help
 I see that the house voted to over ride the governor's veto on concealed carry in Illinois and they think it will pass the senate as well? Not that that is going to help the situation in the city with the gangbangers. It's really too bad. It must suck to see that stuff happening where you call home. Unfortunately, I don't see it getting much if any better. Be safe. Mike |
