8th grade?????  Kids.....Our flag has been flying at half mast all day today. Unfortunately the "government" run post office down the street still has theirs at full mast. What a disgrace.

I Remember that day vividly!! So many things remind me of that day, not just the anniversary, any calm, clear, fall blue sky, a low flying commercial airliner and it's sounds echoing among the high rises downtown Chicago, a Fire Truck with big flags flying, amongst them.
Will also never forget the eerie calm in the skies that evening and the days after with absolutely zero aircraft other than military. |
