What waders do you like for taking out the dock and why? Ripped mine over the weekend and need to invest in a new pair. Just wanted to hear thoughts and opinions. And if you had any luck with one brand over the other.
Looking at Hodgman, Toggs, and a few others. |

So you mean waders? Have you considered repairing them?

You mean waders?
It seems the nylon style lasts a little bit longer before they start leaking, but I dont think we've found anything that is leak free after a year or 2. Might be worth investing in a nice pair by LL Bean or similar that offers a money back or full replacement guarantee? Personally, my water is a little deep so I opt for the full wetsuit, sneakers and bourbon approach. |

Thought I might get a few more responses that way , but yes I have. The problem I have is, even if I do, I really don't think they have much life left in them. The boots are starting to dry rot. I have really thought about going the wet suit method, but always loved the pouch. I might have to check into the LL Bean ones.

You're doing it wrong..... 1) buy dock with wheels. 2) Roll dock into water in Spring, lower stabilizing legs from top of dock while drinking bourbon. Stay dry. 3) In the Fall, drink bourbon on top of dock while raising stabilizing legs, pull dock out with vehicle. Stay dry. Mike |
