I am in search of a Correct Craft Low Boy trailer. One needing a total overhaul is okay and even desirable. Willing to buy a combination boat/trailer to get the trailer. Let me know if you have even heard a rumor of one somewhere so I can research its whereabouts.
Looking for a winter project. |

It does not have the fiberglass pan, but when I had my 1980, a few months ago, I would continue to look at a 1980 for parts in Lynchburg VA, that was posted on this site. It was sitting on a low boy trailer for a very low price. I highly considered buying it just for the trailer, but I have a problem with spending WAY TOO MUCH MONEY on trailers during the restorations. I do not know if it has been sold and the owner did not pull the add, but I would look at it and wonder if I could get it past the wife or not. The boat would need to go to the land fill or to someone for a nice bar.

I am not sure that the one on Lynchburg is actually a low boy, but I think the ole boat trailer combination would be worth getting at that price, but not for my situation.
Looking for the deluxe version for my next project while continuing to look for a v-drive Barefoot. |

Ive seen this boat. Its not in Matoon, it's down between Effingham and Terra Haute...
The boat is not in "fair" condition, its actually a flower pot !! Stringers are rotten to the core, all freeze plugs blown out of the motor, the swim pltform will crack right off the back and the fiberglass pan is dismal with cracks and missing chunks out of it, tires flat, frame rusted out and some home made braking system built into it.. Don't know about the springs etc.... I ran !!! Moj' |

Well it was for sale for $2000 and didn't want to take less than $1500. I too wanted it just for the trailer, but unless you haul in a flatbed, it's going nowhere. Just looking at it, you'd have several grand into getting it under a boat,,, I said eh.. He might take a grand, but thats way over priced...

He is likely thinking that damn Monster Tower and that new Prop is worth a ton of money.
Then again, the Tower may help you get some of your money back out of the deal. |

I own a 1980 C.C. low boy that you are welcome to measure and photograph if you want to build one . It has a 1980 S.N. sitting on it . In fact if you know someone that would build it I would love to clone mine .
