So band is mandatory at my sons middle school. He chose percussion. (Lord save me)
I subscribe to the old adage that your kid never plays the drums because lets face it, band practice is always at the drummers house! So he wants to drum, like every other 12 your old boy I suppose. I used have a set of congas I played when I lived in Key West back in the 80s. i enjoyed them completely and congas actually add to a family room decor, unlike a drum set. So Craigslist search and presto! I'm off to Miami to grab them in an hour! What do you think? I love them!
