I have a 1997 Ski Nautique that I need to partially reupholster. I want to order new skins and have my local upholstery shop fit them. The name CHRISTINES pops up a lot. Any body have experience dealing with them and if so what was the god, the bad and the ugly in doing so?

Haven't heard any quality complaints with Christine's, they just occasionally have long lead times.

HW, Do you know if us CCF folks get any kind of a "coded" discount with Christines?

Christines does amazing work. They are not cheap, but well worth the money. HW is correct in that they are always busy and it can take some time to fulfill your order. They are local for me and I've been to their shop numerous times. Great people.

Christine's is worth the price.   No one can beat their quality.

I've found near the Chain of Lakes region here in Northern Illinois, several top notch upholstery and boat rebuilding shops that are both affordable and if you pick the right time of the year, fast too. I use Custom Canvas in Ingleside, IL and have had fantastic quality and some of the toughest vinyl available--far superior to the OE vinyl that came from CC originally. They've matched color and pattern and made hardware fixes and their choice of foam is also the right balance. They just did my front bow playpen and rear engine cover for $600 and that includes all labor and materials. Turnaround was 10 days.
