So the left side windshield on my 95 Sport has come loose. It looks like it happens a while ago ( boat is new to me) and all the screw holes are stripped. Some leaving fairly big holes, maybe a 1/4" or bigger in some spots.
Do I fill the hole and screw the wind shield in the same place or should I move the holes in the wind shield. If I move the holes, do I still need to fill the old ones? |

Frame to frame or frame to deck? Paul, please clarify.

Paul,
I'd fill the holes in the deck and use the same locations. If you can get to the bottom side on any of them, bolts and nuts would be even better plus easier than messing with some epoxy. |

I went with the bolts in the bigger holes. I installed three bolts with locktite nuts. Should hold until next winter when I plan it refund the whole windshield. For this year I did want to touch up a few areas where the paint has striped off. I was thinking of just some type of brush on paint just something that will just last the summer until I have time to take the windscreen apart and do it properly. Any suggestions? Would this work? |

A black "Sharpie" works wonders and sure isn't as messy as paint! It will hold up for awhile until you refinish the complete frame. |
