Hi, I need information about the white lake shindig. I have registered but i am a forst timer and am CLUELESS. I called the white lake motel and was told they didnt know anything about a boat gathering and their hotel was full of workers renting by the week. I emailed and called Townsend requesting information but no response.Can anyone help with information like what times things are happening. What hotel is everybody staying in. What time is the cookout and do you just sigh up for whatever? Thanks for any info.

white lake motel and campground
My friend Dan had no problem getting a reservation a couple days ago, so you might have had the wrong place. Some of us will be getting there on Friday relatively early and heading out on the water in whatever boats show up just after lunch time would be a safe bet. People at the campground staying at the hotel should be with our group and be friendly if you say hello… if they aren’t then they must not be with us. Friday is a free for all mostly centered around the motel.. Saturday morning we will bring the boats to White Lake Marina for show of sorts, before going out on the water for the day. Around dusk we head to the Motel for a pot luck dinner… I wouldn’t worry about bringing anything along at this point it looks like we already will have enough food for two armys.. Sunday morning usually includes watersports and depending on weather good byes. Glad to have you along, if you need more info ask here or give white lake marina a call and ask for townsend. |

With all of the meat volunteered, I am switching to try to round out our meal a bit. Will make broccoli salad and grab some cookies etc to go with the other desserts.
