Hey all! I have a 1988 sn with the original trailer. I am changing out the bearings, races and seals. The outer races set back in all the way to the lip and seated in tight. When i punched out the inner seals i didn't see how far they set in for all the grease. The race that came out is a 25520 which is what i am replacing with. My problem is that it will not seat all the way to the lip like the outer ones did. What am i missing? Its the same part number. Thank you for any help!

25580 is the bearing and 25520 is the correct race

Do you have a bearing and race driver? That would be the best way to get it to seat properly. You may try freezing it then install it

Most likely got it at an angle going in and caused a burr. Take it out and make sure the bore is smooth and try again, don't try to do it with one hit

Follow up- Had a couple small burrs that i thought could not have affected the seating. I was wrong and learned a lesson. Thank you gentlemen!
