Looking for a new old stock (NOS) or MINT used Teleflex fuel gauge for a 1979/1980 era boat. |

Rod,
Is the picture you posted your old gauge? If so, what's wrong? Just asking and wondering if you have tried to do any testing. |

Yes picture posted is old one. I have not tested it- not sure how I would??. I was able to buy all new old stock gauges for this year boat- except the fuel gauge! It would complete my set. The needle is faded to no color, should be orange tipped. Just figured I'd ask around and see it I struck pay dirt😀

Rod,
Give the gauge a test. + to the gauge. S terminal to the sender. Ground the sender and move the arm/float. |

Gauge isn't in a boat- I will have to see about putting it in a working boat and see what happens. |

Rod, It doesn't have to be in a boat! Hook it up to a battery or a battery charger on the bench. Without a sender, just hook it up and the gauge should peg. |

Ok- thanks for the info. Still want to find a NOS one to match all the others I have ( or close to it)!

I understand. I was just wondering if the old one still worked. If it does, then there's certainly some value in it. |
