My trailers jack collapsed yesterday. It was the original? 500lb bolt on Attwood. I am looking for a bolt on replacement. I'd like a larger swivel wheel type. Seems like most of the ones I find are the swing up variety.
The closest models I have found to the original are: Fulton TJ12220301 Fulton Dutton-Laison 22507 Dutton-Laison Any other recommendations or preference out of the two? Thanks, Chuck |

I have a swing 1200lb 6" wheel Fulton on my 88 Ski and love it. We put a 1500lb 8" wheel on the 88 BFN and it's even better. I would do the larger wheel on the SN if I had to replace it.

Fulton original style rocks. That's what is on my 85 and its smooth as silk. You can, however, throw ever Fulton F2 style jack directly into the closest trash receptacle.

I went with this Dutton-Lainson jack on my 88 years ago and love it. Two wheels is the way to go IMHO if you gotta move a loaded trailer around in the driveway and especially on dirt or grass.

It's around 200 I believe and it might even be less than that since Boat Mate got ahold of the trailer and put surge brakes on it for me. I've got a swing away hitch now since the modification which is nice. I do realize that the 1200lb load rating on the jack is a bit over kill (understatement) but have two wheels makes pushing the trailer around so much easier as I tuck the boat up tight against the garage wall at home. I don't do dead lifts or squats anymore and I ain't throwing my back out to lift a loaded boat trailer tongue just to see if I can! |

Eagle used Shelby, the funky box attachment style jacks on the Ramlin trailers I believe was a specially spec from Bulldog. I've had good luck with bulldog but they seem to cater more towards the utility trailer style jacks. |
