Hello friends, I am going to install a depth finder on my 76 ski tique and was just wondering if anyone else has any recommendations as far as mounting the transducer? i don't really want to drill holes in the hull but i don't think there is any other options. where we use the boat the lake depths change drastically so we don't want to wreck the prop or boat itself.

The in-hull transducers bond to inside of hull, no holes to drill. My (Hawk-I) transducer could be mounted up to 30 degrees from horizontal (So no need for it to be on keel).
No matter what you get, you can't slow down fast enough if the depth gets shallow suddenly. |
