I installed a Centek fiberglass y pipe last season in my Nautique. I wanted to get rid of the hull hugger any way and thought it was too quiet at idle. So it's definitely not quiet now but a bit much at higher speeds. I'm looking for a happy medium. Something that would fit in the 4" outlet end.
Any ideas? |

FYI it's a 96. 5.7 not GT40.

Do you want to make it quieter or louder?
If you want quiet, a fresh air exhaust will make it almost silent. |

I would like it a little quieter but not like stock.

wrap the new wye pipe with some sort of insulation... I am sure that some sort of foam pipe wrap would probably work.
