The ignition push button switch on my dash is a bit sticky and difficult to dis-engage ( get it to shut off). Does anyone have any suggestions or experience getting these switches to loosen up and operate more freely?

They are cheap at nautique parts. Just make sure you get the correct one in terms of amps. Think nautique parts has them marked well on the site.

For the age of most of our boats replacement might be the best option. I'd be careful using lubrication unless it's completely non-flammable.

Well, great suggestion on the WD-40. That did the trick and no sparks or any other ill effects, just smooth operation now. Thanks for all the suggestions and help
