Does the boat have the rear mounted tow point?
What prop is on the boat?
What rudder is on the boat?
Does it have good bow and stern lights?

That is NOT a tow point. Note the warning and danger notices!!! It's a LIFTING ring.

Pete

Why don't you do something like actually read the words on the sticker especially those in the yellow background?

Then you can decide if CC called it a tow point

Pete should have no trouble reading that and then finding the owners manual in the reference section for a 98 Sport Nautique where he can read section 3 about safety stickers.

He can find a pylon warning sticker, this transom warning sticker about the transom tow point and the grab rail.

It's all as clear as mud

And no safety sticker for the lifting eye saying it's a lifting eye only.

Is that the transom tow point or is the grab rail the transom tow point.

Who really cares, people have tied things to the "lifting eye" and towed them from there forever

I'd pay shipping for the prop to go on my wall....of course that's if it isn't cost effective to be fixed.

In Petes defense my ‘95 had a separate rear tow point verses the lifting rings. I’m not sure when they started to incorporate the two but I’m guessing it would have been around when they switched from the slope back to the bubble back.

Even in 97 certain models still had the separate tow point

FYI--smooth transaction with seller, had items in two days after sale, crated and shipped quickly, no issues.
