Zach, I neglected to state I was the offending party that did the breaking. It’s Lance’s new boat, but I’m still trying to square it away. Maybe we can swap it off the Dominique.. Thanks for the options.

Matt, worst case you may be able to take it to a machine shop and have them cut the stalk down and re thread the top. It would be slightly shorter but still work.
Also, MV2 is the generation of that control although I believe the spline is interchangeable. MV1 was 86 and earlier and mv2 started in 87. The square housing with the circular front face is MV2. Morse is the control manufacturer. Teleflex purchased the rights to the MV3 control the last one Morse made in about 1995. It was goofy control. |

Friend bought an 88 Barefoot Nautique and while trying to get the threaded insert off of the throttle lever it broke. Looking for an MV-1 lever. Would an MV-2 lever work without the neutral safety detent?
