4 in a column to the left of helm.
What does the second from top do?

Thanks

It turns something on and off

Click on the link below and it'll tell you what, assuming the switches are drawn in order which they should be since I think it was a CC diagram. Looks like it's for the bilge pump to me

It'll be a handy thing to have anyways.

it's from some planet named Nautique

Those aliens. Sometimes I find their language so hard to decipher.....
in this case the diagram shows 3 switches...all functions of which I can account for. My '82 has 4. The label is too worn to make out.

They count differently too

These are the push button breaker type switches right?

In order from the top

Nav

Pump

Blower

Ignition

Then again I think I can see what you're saying too

I guess somebody sitting in an 82 wil have to tell you

Here's a link to an 82 for sale

The dashboard picture shows the switches

If you blow it up to 500% it shows the labeling on the switches pretty clearly

But...................just like your boat, the second switch down isn't labeled

Since it's at Watercraft Sales in Three Lakes WI maybe you could get Pete to wander over and do a little investigating

And here's a link to a thread that talks about that same switch and fuse setup

I have a good idea about that 82. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's been for sale for a few years. It doesn't show up on Watercrafts used inventory so it may be under consignment? Note the tannin staining on the hull sides. It's been sitting pretty low in the water for awhile! I think it's on the verge of a part out.

Both my former 84 and my neighbors 84 had/have the same unlabeled switch (2nd from the top). I don’t recall if it was used for an accessory. I know some early BFN’s got 2 bilge pumps (mine had separate switches), though the 2nd was to the right of the wheel. Only nav/pump/blower on the left of my 79.

I suppose it would be relatively easy to crawl under and see if anything is hooked to the switch
