I have a 1994 sport nautique is there a fuse anywhere on the boat that would blow in keeping the boat from starting. I have the on off switch in the back of the boat and that is on.

Mike,
Still a little confused. Just to confirm, "starting" is getting the engine to run and "cranking" is the starter is engaged and turning the engine over.

You have voltage at the battery? Cables and battery terminals nice and clean and tight? One item that will prevent cranking is the NSS (neutral safety switch). It's on the trans so I suggest checking it for continuity.
