Ok, it's been a fun season. First the boat was trying to over heat. With the challenging northeast weather I've had limited time to work on the sport. Finally I think I found the air leak causing the imper not drawing the water. Now it won't start. All I get is the horn going very quietly bap bap. 12 volts at the starter and the battery is brand new. I replaced the key pad a couple of years back. I'm stumped. Could that key pad have gone bad? Or is it most likely that funny wire with the fuse in between the positive and negative terminals? The fuse is good. The weather here has been so bad that I literally get a couple of hours to tinker a l then I have to cover the boat up for a couple of days.
