So a while back there was a thread that was hi-jacked and developed into who is doing what during the Covid times (Who has the vid was the thread I believe)
Anyway Jbear made a trip to the west side of Florida and picked up the prop guard and some other goodies for me and Chad. I wanted to add a prop guard to the BFN trailer so I figured I would see what I could make happen with the one below even though it was set up for a tube style trailer. Fortunately the "spread" on the guard was correct so all that was needed was to figure out mounting and extending the "tongue" to forward to attach to the axle cross member. I drilled a hole through the trailer channel, inserted a pipe sleeve to make up the space between the tab on the guard and the channel and installed some grade 5, 3/4" bolts. I will end up blasting and painting this fall winter to clean it up but overall this should work well.
