Summer in Utah is quickly drawing to a close...and that means LAKE POWELL HOUSEBOAT ADVENTURE.  We just returned from our annual trek to Lake Powell for some serious skiing along with amazing scenery.  This year, we were in Last Chance Bay (Lat / Lon coordinates:  37.119653°, -111.257420°).  The Jonny Quest armada consisted of two Ski Nautiques, one 'Bu thurf boat and one runabout I/O thing.  For the first time in several years, there were no mechanical gremlins on the little boats or the houseboat.

Cool nights, warm days, calm winds and flat water.  One day I got 5 sets in as the flat water kept calling.  Lots of ibuprofen.  My cousin is a licensed massage therapist and her skills were in high demand with the geriatric participants.

Very nice JQ, we used to do that at Lake Shasta almost every year.  So much fun.   The scenery on Powell is incredible.   5 sets in a day for a retired guy!  Wow, you are my hero.  It is hard to quit when you have perfect water all day long.   Glad you had a great trip.

Nice Photo JQ, I was not able to wear trunks like those or they would catch on the water and tear.   The picture reminds me it has been 15 years since that was a problem, I don't even think about grabbing the old neoprene ski shorts any more.   I no longer have the muscle to pull it down that far on a cut.  ( but in my mind I am still doing it)    I like seeing seasoned guys still out having fun!
