I bought one from Boise Boat Works on eBay.  It is not a rebuilt.  I only have about 50 hours on it but so far so good.

My 2000 Sport Nautique has the Sherwood pump on the Python engine and the pump needs to be rebuilt or replaced.  Anyone recommend a raw water pump rebuilder?  Is this relatively easy to pull apart and replace all the seals, bearings etc..?

I did find a rebuilt Sherwood $300 or a rebuilt Johnson $150-anyone have an opinion on switching to the Johnson?  Either will fit my engine.

Thanks!
